Bodegas Bianchi is a storied winery with over 90 years of history. Originally called El Chiche, Bodegas Bianchi was founded by Valentin Bianchi in 1928 with the goal of becoming âthe small winery of great winesâ.
The vineyards and winery are located in San Rafael District, 240 km South of the city of Mendoza, in the province of Mendoza. The company owns 350 hectares acres of vineyards. The winery has a storage capacity of 11,5 million liters of wine between its cellars in San Rafael and the Uco Valley.
Bodegas Bianchi entered a period of steady growth when the second generation of the Bianchi family was given the task of creating new wines and creating new markets for its wine internationally. Today, their wine is exported to more than 40 countries around the world. Now with the fourth generation at the helm, this winery produces wines that respect heritage of San Rafael and also show the evolution and uniqueness of the wines from the Uco Valley.
